An unmanned spacecraft India launched last month has begun orbiting the moon as it approaches the far side to study previously discovered water deposits.

An unmanned spacecraft India launched last month began orbiting the moon Tuesday as it approaches the lunar south pole to study previously discovered water deposits.

Chandrayaan will continue circling the moon in a tighter orbit until reaching a distance of about 100 kilometers from the moon's surface. A rover will study permanently shadowed moon craters that are thought to contain 100 million tons of water, deposits that were confirmed by India's Chandrayaan-1 mission in 2008.

Sivan said NASA's Artemis mission will use the data from Chandrayaan-2 to send astronauts to the moon by 2024, preparing the way for human missions to Mars."We are going to land at a place for the first time on the south pole and NASA has already announced the project of a having human habitat type of thing on the south pole. So this will be giving input on a program which is concerning humanity in a major way," he added.

This Creamy Indian-Spiced Cauliflower Is Light Enough for SummerBathed in a creamy, almond-y sauce, Mughlai chicken isn't exactly the kind of thing one gravitates toward in the summer. But replace that meat with roasted cauliflower and it becomes an entrée that's hefty enough to be filling, yet light enough to work regardless of the season. Surprisingly, Indian preparations are the only way that I can eat cauliflower. I just do not care for European ways of cooking the vegetable.
