BREAKING: India's Health Ministry says confirmed coronavirus cases have surpassed 8 million with 120,527 deaths.

An election officer checks the temperature of a voter before allowing voters to pass at a polling station, during the first phase of state elections at Paliganj, in the eastern Indian state of Bihar, Wednesday, Oct. 28, 2020. With an overall declining coronavirus positive trend, Indian authorities decided to hold the first state legislature election since the outbreak of COVID-19.

NEW DELHI — India’s confirmed coronavirus caseload surpassed 8 million on Thursday with daily infections dipping to the lowest level this week, as concerns grew over a major Hindu festival season and winter setting in. The Health Ministry reported another 49,881 infections and 517 fatalities in the past 24 hours, raising the death toll to 120,527.

India saw a steep rise in cases in July and added more than 2 million in August and another 3 million in September. But it is seeing a slower pace of coronavirus spread since mid-September, when daily infections touched a record of 97,894 and the highest number of deaths at 1,275.

2020 Stats: COVID related deaths = 1.1 million world wide • Abortions = 35.4 million world wide. 😢 Humans are 32X more likely to kill a unborn baby than die from complications related to COVID-19 (if the media cared about people they’d really cover this!) factcheck WHOdata

If ever this is over we will see what it cost Indians for not having a way to combat this virus

The race to the top: 🇮🇳 vs 🇺🇸 Both countries are largely free and democratic. Their citizens firm believers in their ‘rights’ not to wear masks but not so much in their ‘responsibilities’ to protect others.

Isn’t there like 100 million of them?!

What is immune system and what is called immunity? sayno2corona covid19 corona covid healthcare

'It's unfortunate that much of the media coverage surrounding [the drug] has been negative. These three medications are affordable, available in pill form, and work in synergy against COVID-19.'

Still can beat the USA!!!!!! We still lead the way !!!! Trump is out here working hard to spread it more too! So much winning/dying

120,527/8,000,000 = 0.015 0.015 x 100 = 1.5 The mortality rate is 1.5% I wouldn’t worry about it.

And this is why Trump’s White House is avoiding a national mask mandate, or any effective national testing and tracing plan. They want to stay in first for most positive cases.

When people say “it’s a democratic hoax” I often point to the global deaths! “The entire world is suffering through this for Joe Biden?”, I ask, And they often reply with “Yup” idiots

Wow, Trump's USA had almost twice as many deaths at 8 million. India, with a much, much larger population now has almost as many cases. It's embarrassing how incredibly poorly our nation has performed under Trump.

Dang she got the same crappy Thermometer off Amazon that I ordered.

AP full of Misinformation! 8 million cases in India makes 0.5 % of population! You are really full of BS! But of course you do receive million of Big Pharma! Liars liars AP
