Indian Space Research Organization 's Geosynchronous Satellite launch Vehicle MkIII carrying Chandrayaan-2 stands at Satish Dhawan Space Center after the mission was aborted at Sriharikota in southern India, Monday, July 15, 2019. India has called off the launch of a moon mission to explore the lunar south pole. The Chandrayaan-2 mission was aborted less than an hour before takeoff on Monday.
The countdown abruptly stopped at T-56 minutes, 24 seconds, and Guruprasad said that the agency would announce a revised launch date soon. Dr. K. Sivan, chairman of the Indian Space Research Organization, said at a news conference last week that the around $140-million Chandrayaan-2 mission was the nation’s most prestigious to date, in part because of the technical complexities of soft landing on the lunar surface — an event he described as “15 terrifying minutes.”
But decades of space research have allowed India to develop satellite, communications and remote sensing technologies that are helping solve everyday problems at home, from forecasting fish migration to predicting storms and floods.
Other countries’ve done so wo this fuss. They show the launch&the landing-at most orbit trajectory.None make it larger than life as scientific development is a natural progression of growth.Only the uneducated do so; aft building hype&consequent failure Chandrayaan2 republic
This is what I was thinking was the problem
Concentrate on 7/11 not Apollo 11
hello this is india mission control.. how may i be helping you today.
Could it be gas is up to $4/gallon?
Elastic band snapped🤔
insert joke about moon made of cheese, cheese made from cows milk and cows being sacred ;-)
Guessing it was way too many different items in the payload.
Why does India need you go to the moon? Should it not use its limited resources to improve the conditions of its people? How about using some of their resources to attack climate change?
It’s very common to cancel the liftoff in last few minutes. It is important to have last minute cross check and most of the time there are last min cancellations. Most important issues is to launch 🚀 it successfully.Any way congratulations on detecting the last minute mistakes👍
The cheque from Britain's aid agency didn't come through.
I’m curious. Do they have a bunch of astronauts hanging off the rocket like they do on their trains?
With the majority of the population being so poor, why would the government waste money on its ambition to reach the moon? It isn't something nobody hasn't done before.
thank god....they aborted it in right time....better late than never
How about giving our £98million Foreign aid money back. If India can do this they don't need the UKs tax payers money, this is the biggest con perpetrated on the British public in decades 0.7% of GDP, what a fucking joke.....................and it's on us
Have they tried switching it off and back on again chint87 Vishalshanker84 M3shP ?
Did they outsource engineering to Boeing in the US? hehe that would be ironic.

Bollywood, we have a problem!
Flat Earth?
Did they try rebooting?
Did someone say snack?
If men were also involved the mission would have succeeded the first time.
Good to know they narrowed it down to a snag
