The experts reviewing the global handling of the pandemic, led by former New Zealand Prime Minister Helen Clark and former Liberian President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf, called for reforms to the Geneva-based United Nations agency.Their interim report was published hours after the WHO’s top emergency expert, Mike Ryan, said that global deaths from COVID-19 were expected to top 100,000 per week “very soon”.
As evidence emerged of human-to-human transmission, “in far too many countries, this signal was ignored”, it added. “Although the term pandemic is neither used nor defined in the International Health Regulations , its use does serve to focus attention on the gravity of a health event. It was not until 11 March that WHO used the term,” the report said.
whatever,Chinese already beated the virus. everybody was laughing when watching Chinese built hospitals within 10 days.Even if started to prepare by that time is not too late.and now they blame Chinese didn't give enough warning. you know what? that is what we call karma
Chinamission2un you spread the virus. WHO not fit for purpose. Needs a root and branch overhaul and new governance aligned to accountability. Should be a source of global pride hampered by pernicious autocrats.
Organisations like the UN, the WHO, the EU...are cumbersome, red-tape strangled word-salad behemoths that cost enormous amounts of money for pitiful returns of value to humans today. They're completely unfit for purpose, have no teeth & require reform or being broken up.
lol oh now you believe trump 🤡
