These people on here saying, 'oh look at me, I didn't use drugs, it's all their fault so let them die,' best hope they never experience massive trauma and find themselves on the other side of the coin.

I am very sad for opiod abusers. I am in Florida with a cracked molar and appr 20 days from now. I have zero addiction problems but they still won’t give me anything but ibuprofen I spoke w dying cancer patient at radiology, she doesn’t want fing weed or your paper’s opine
Society has nothing to do with it. Addictions are no joke and it’s the toughest to overcome. A person can be treated first try but then more than 70% of the time will likely get back into it.

What about personal responsability? What about parents and family responsability? For every person who die for using drugs, there are hundreds of thousand of us who don't... Bc we are responsable enough to take care of ourselves and our bodies. Don't do drugs and you won't die.

It's no more a race issue than it is a gender issue; men die from overdosing at 2-3x the rate of women. Prohibition kills. The drugs that people want are much more safe than the only drugs they have available to them under prohibition.
DRUG ADDICTION has long been overlooked in the homeless population. Oddly, the majority of the homeless people we encounter on the streets of sunny California are not Black, Brown, Yellow or Red…they’re White. Our tax laden system is failing Us all.
