Omega brings the spirit of the Tokyo Olympics to Miami with an Olympic Pool art installation at the Design District

Omega, the official timekeeper of the Olympic Games, brings this spirit to Miami, transforming the open space of the Design District’s Jungle Plaza into a replica of the pool— complete with starting blocks and lane markers— as a special venue to celebrate the games. But don’t dive in though— it’s Flash-mob style performers as swimmers, golfers and runners will be popping up on weekends, until August 8....

[+]At the Omega boutique, an exhibit entitled “A Journey Through Time” is running until August 29. It showcases brand’s history of timekeeping and pursuit of innovative technology. Upon entering the boutique, visitors are greeted with an abstract display of an original Omega starting block before being treated to an underwater view of a swimming race in progress, with sounds from the pool creating a sensory event in the boutique’s elevator....
