In viral video, Bay Area Noah’s Bagels staff quits following manager’s terminationThe staff of a local bagel franchise quit en masse Saturday, alleging that the general manager was wrongfully terminated, announcing their exodus in a short TikTok video that has gone viral.

tiktok.com I started by gathering all of the ingredients, which include cabbage, green onion, and cucumber for the base. You could also add chives, but I was not able to find any at my local grocery store. For the dressing, you'll need olive oil, rice vinegar, lemon juice, garlic, shallots, spinach, basil, walnuts, and nutritional yeast. Jen Adams I made the dressing first. Jen Adams I poured all of the liquids into the blender... Jen Adams ...and then followed with the spinach, basil, walnuts, shallot, and nutritional yeast. Jen Adams Then, it was blending time! Jen Adams ...loading... Jen Adams After about 30 seconds, I ended up with this creamy, vibrant, green sauce. Does that not look like the definition of ~health~ to you? Jen Adams After putting aside the dressing, I began chopping my vegetables. Jen Adams If you don't know how to cut vegetables, making this salad will definitely give you some practice. It felt like I was chopping this cabbage for hours . Jen Adams I finally got through the rest of the vegetables and felt accomplished. This is a pretty labor-intensive salad (lol), although it was kind of fun and therapeutic to chop all the ingredients. But if you're lazy (like me), you should buy everything pre-cut. (Do they even sell chopped up cucumbers? Idk. Let me know.) Jen Adams I poured on the dressing and gave it all a good stir. I ended up with this green coleslaw-looking concoction, which did not looked as aesthetically pleasing as I had hoped (but that's my fault). I probably could have cut all of the vegetables a little smaller, like how Baked By Melissa does in her video, but whatever. That's something to work on for next time. Jen Adams Taste-wise, I was blown away, and as I mentioned earlier, I am not usually a salad person. The lemony pesto dressing really shined through and made the salad very light and refreshing. The cabbage and cucumbers also contributed a nice crunch so I didn't get bored of eating this. In her video, Baked By Melissa eats this with tortilla chips, but I just had it as it was, and it was still so good. Jen Adams
