According to Haley Robson , she was a teenager when she found herself trapped in Jeffrey Epstein 's world. "I made a choice of survival and I stuck with that choice. I've paid a high cost and a high price for that choice,” Robson told CBS12 News' Luli Ortiz. This summer, the details of grand jury testimony in the Palm Beach County case against Jeffrey Epstein will become public thanks to a change in Florida law signed by Gov.
That's when a classmate mentioned an opportunity to make some easy money—an invitation to Epstein’s mansion and a backrub in exchange for cash. She took the bait, and it led her into a nightmare. “I experienced him touching me in inappropriate places, forcing me to touch him and do things to him as he watched,” Robson recalled.“He just said, if you don't want to do this then just bring me your friends. I will pay for, you know, every friend that you bring to me, you will get compensated for,” she said.before“I'm 16, I was raped. That was my first sexual experience for me, and I didn't have another fight in me. I made a choice of survival and I stuck with that choice.
The FBI ultimately got involved. A few years later, in 2019, authorities in New York and the feds filed sex trafficking charges. But before that trial could proceed further, Epstein was found dead in his New York jail cell. The cause of death was suicide. “Because they have been groomed, they felt as though that they were part of sexual abuse. So, because of that shame, many will take years if ever to disclose the trauma,” she said.
