With Hurricane Zeta approaching the Gulf Coast, Louisiana is preparing for potential impact while still working to repair the damage from Hurricanes Laura and Delta.
A hurricane watch is now in effect from Morgan City, Louisiana, to the Mississippi/Alabama border, including Lake Pontchartrain, Lake Maurepas, and metropolitan New Orleans, according to the National Hurricane Center. A tropical storm watch is in place to the east and west of the hurricane watch, from the Mississippi/Alabama border to the Okaloosa/Walton County line in Florida and from west of Morgan City to Intracoastal City, Louisiana.
