Of all the comments on here, not a single bit of sympathy for the victim, if it was a different president you all wouldn't even bat an eye. I lived in Concordia when this happened, not a single person I knew, left or right, disagreed when the verdict was read after the trial. I feel so bad for her sister. This should never have happened. The poor, poor woman.

Everything about this story is so damn sad - the crime she committed, her life leading up to it. I can't even be mad at anyone, I just feel defeated reading it. The world sucks. It's difficult to focus on the reality of killing people in the face of the atrocious murder that she committed. The problem is - like most other laws on the books today - it will be unfairly implemented against people of color.
