Here's how much you will get in Social Security if you make $50,000 and take your benefits before or after age 67.

Waiting a few years, however, could have nearly doubled the size of their monthly check.

Benefits are based on your income, the year you were born and the age you decide to start taking money out. So timing is key. You are first eligible to begin receiving your benefits at age 62, but waiting until 70 could translate to tens of thousands of dollars a year in your pocket when you need it most.

Check out this video to see a case study of someone who turns 62 in 2020 and made $50,000 every year over the course of their career.

You're Not Welcome Here: How Social Distancing Can Destroy The Global EconomyThere's a curfew in Paris, and Londoners aren't allowed to invite neighbors to dinner. People are already exhausted of social distancing, but some places are introducing even more draconian measures. A misleading headline. Unlike older societies, we have technology to keep us connected while we take precautions to quell the plague. Is it difficult? Absolutely. Is it necessary for a short time? Absolutely. Time to step up, world. It’s going to be a rough winter. We got this. “Draconian” suggests the measures aren’t warranted or reasonable. Wrong word to use.
