I believe the problem of America is not international enough. An expert of China can’t read Chinese, an expert of Korea can’t speak korean. Researches and information are second hand or doctored. That’s not helping. Check this opinion from a kn economist.

Every rational country MUST ban Huawei and other Chinese companies, unless they want to be under Chinese debt or be blackmailed by ruthless Chinese at some point.
