Best case for renewables is maybe 10%. You will still need fossil fuel to run power plants so you can charge up your EV’s. Fuel to burn will be needed for airplanes, ships, railway, semi trucks, generators, machinery,construction equipment, etc,etc. control the population boom.

The government should not subsidize big oil & gas but instead subsidize renewable energy. The latter is underdeveloped and not efficient, the government is great at losing money day in and day out. It’ll also ensure we stay energy independent and a world class exporter.
