Houston law enforcement faces budget cuts after Harris County Commissioners Court meeting

Republican commissioners Tom Ramsey and Jack Cagle skipped the meeting because the budget did not include extra money for law enforcement. It’s called cutting off your nose to spite your face. The self proclaimed “back the blue” just essentially cut funding.

Republicans HCPrecinct4 Jack Cagle and HarrisCoPct3 Tom Ramsey have literally defunded Harris County Sheriff and law enforcement out of $42 million with this stunt. It will take many years to make up this loss for the county.

It also didn’t include a lot of 🐂💩 expenditures the Democrats wanted either.
