JUST IN: The House has voted to hold Steve Bannon, one of former President Donald Trump's closest allies, in criminal contempt of Congress after he defied a subpoena from the committee investigating the January 6 attack on the US Capitol.

The House of Representatives voted on Thursday to hold Steve Bannon, one of former President Donald Trump's closest allies, in criminal contempt of Congress after he defied a subpoena from the committee investigating the January 6 attack on the US Capitol.

The vote was 229-202.Nine Republicans voted with all 220 Democrats to pass the resolution: House Select Committee Vice Chair Liz Cheney, Reps. Adam Kinzinger, Nancy Mace, Fred Upton, Peter Meijer, John Katko, Brian Fitzpatrick, Anthony Gonzalez of Ohio, and Jaime Herrera Beutler. Rep. Greg Pence -- the brother of former Vice President Mike Pence, who was presiding over the electoral vote count on January 6 -- did not vote.

He is a felon the minute he indicted the insurrection and sedition on January 6th. Everyone who supports Dump on or after that date should be declared a felon too for being accessories, with a ten year suspended sentence.The felony record means no voting, or weapon ownership
