The House is poised to pass a D.C. statehood bill next week — the first time in U.S. history either chamber will approve legislation granting the district full representation and voting rights in Congress

The House is poised to pass a D.C. statehood bill next week — the first time in U.S. history either chamber will approve legislation granting the District full representation and voting rights in Congress.

The House will vote on the legislation June 26, one day after it considers a sweeping police reform bill that Democrats’ put together in the wake of Floyd’s death and the nationwide unrest that followed. But Democratic leaders said it’s even more important to put the bill on the floor now, especially after peaceful protesters were violently cleared from LaFayette Square by National Guard troops for a presidential photo op earlier this month.

More wasted time and money.

Not a chance Silly c**nts

Waste if time

Historic, my arse. Nothing the Democrat NAZI mafia does is historic. They r getting it from the Mein Kampf playbook. Silence a group of ppl, use their media to spread propaganda and try to shut any differing voices. Tear down historical statues like ISIS. Try to take our guns.

Next up Puerto Rico 🇵🇷?

Democrats suddenly are trying every trick they can to win the election now after impeachment plots failed. Pelosi had decades to do this move but it must come now when Trump is going to win

That's ridiculous

Hard no.

Really doesn't matter either way. The courts will strike it down even if the Senate also passes it. Historically speaking, nobody was supposed to actually live full time in DC.

I'm not sure how DC statehood is legitimately controversial. I thought we all believed in representative government in this country.

Won’t pass the senate

John Bolton’s Feud With White House EscalatesFormer national security adviser John Bolton is expected to move forward with the scheduled release of his book, following a monthslong campaign by the White House—including an effort by President Trump and the attorney general on Monday—to stop him. Wonder if he did it himself or had a team of ghost writers. Whatever, I wish him luck, I guess. Disgruntled Bolton still miffed he couldn’t get a war started, while NSA. WholeMarsBlog Wow!
