Clark told CNN Friday that if Vice President Mike Pence refuses to remove the president via the 25th Amendment, “then we will move forward with impeachment to do just that.”
“Every day” that Trump remains in office “is a grave danger,” Clark said, so the House plans to use “procedural tools” to bring articles of impeachment to the House floor “as soon as possible,” skipping the traditional lengthy hearings. Clark said that would be as soon as the middle of next week, as the House does “have a process we have to go through.”
