House Democrat Says FBI Looking Into ‘Inside’ Assistance To Capitol Mob

with financial news network Cheddar, Schrier said she is “concerned” that the Trump fans who stormed the Capitol got inside help, citing “videos of assistance” as well as a handful of House members “joining the president in inciting the violence and inviting the mob and giving a fist in the air.”

Schrier said the FBI is “already looking into… who inside was helping the perpetrators,” claiming that the mob was able to find locations in the building that she “probably could not find.”that some lawmakers led “reconnaissance” tours for some of the Trump supporters who were involved in the attack just one day before it occurred.

Schrier said the fact that only members can authorize tours – and that there appeared to be “insider knowledge” among the mob – “suggests some of my colleagues may have been co-conspirators.”Several Trump allies in Congress have come under fire for their connections to the Trump supporters.
