Senate, where a bipartisan group of lawmakers has proposed a similar bill to overhaul the 1887 Electoral Count Act, albeit with some key differences. The Senate legislation already has public support from 10 Republican senators, enough to overcome the chamber’s 60-vote filibuster threshold, if all 50 members of the Democratic caucus vote yes.

Sad we had to pass such a law because many in the Republican Party failed to uphold their duty to the American people but grateful that at least 9 republicans voted for the bill and still take their oaths of office seriously

House and Senate clerks have exhibited an inability to be able to count accurately to 538, hence a bill is needed to mechanize the counting of electoral college votes.

Desperation by the democrats I guess it still must pass in the Senate. There are some revisions but what I read it seems biggest item is to keep VP from having authority on results.
