A disproportionate number of Latinos have died from the virus. Many work essential jobs and live with families, increasing their risk of illness this winter. Those who’ve lost loved ones speak out.Hispanic people in the U.S. have died of COVID-19 at disproportionately high rates, andthat workplace exposure and the overrepresentation of Hispanics on the front lines of the labor force have contributed to the disparity.

The study analyzed data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention as well as the U.S. Census Bureau.

We all knew that. Thanks to these front line workers, WE have had food on our table and so many more services. These workers pay taxes but get NO benefits like US citizens. Why?
