way back in the day. I’m also happy to see a revamp of the calendar interface; I’ve always hated the one that’s in the current desktop version of Outlook.
Microsoft’s post mentions myriad other features, too. For example, when responding to a calendar invite, you can specify whether you’ll be attending in person or virtually; the inbox-cleaning Sweep feature will be included in the app; and Outlook will pin messages that it thinks are important if you seem to have missed them.
If you feel the same, you may be able to try it out yourself — though you will need a commercial or educational Microsoft account. If you’ve checked that box, you can . Once you’ve done that and updated to the latest version of Outlook, there should be a toggle letting you switch to the new version. Of course, do keep in mind that it is a; be sure you’re comfortable with running your email through a program that’s still in the works.Subscribe to get the best Verge-approved tech deals of the week. Please confirm your subscription to Verge Deals via the verification email we just sent you.
I’m getting so tired of this lazy “just make web apps” decision by Microsoft. If they’re gonna start making core apps just glorified web browsers I’m gonna end up switching to Mac
Do they have gone from a headache to CTE
Looks like an outdated, over crowded mess. It will be wonky like all other Microsoft products. Look at Bill gates style. His products reflect his slob hygiene
That's Teams tho...
I still find it mind-boggling how Outlook for Mac looks so modern and the Windows version looks like an app from the 90's. One Outlook looks better but still not quite there design-wise.
Does it have dark mode?
Microsoft has the worst spam filters I’ve ever seen.
Bug!! At the top right corner the chevron icon should be centre-aligned!! Microsoft Outlook
When I first looked at it my eyes didn't know what to look at
If there's something that has a 'slow' look, is this. Looking at this interface I'm getting a sense of clunky, slow, cumbersome. Looks like it was made in 2008.
It just seems pointless creating an app that is way more accessible on a search engine where I believe most people keep this information open on a tab. Microsoft should stop treating Windows like a Chromebook and improve apps like Microsoft office where the majority go
Not looks bad
hope we can aesthetically personalize it .
Finally, they updated the desktop app to use the web interface.
looks nice!
Idk about this new design. There is even more going on than in the current one and that is already way to much for my taste.
this clutter could feed a whole family
Hey Windows , No Sincerely, Everyone and their Grandma who thinks the current one works perfectly. Feels like a solution looking for a problem =\\
would be nice if was free like the one one iphones😤
I don’t know how many Microsoft apps I got left in me man
for starters, everyone gets the same email address: katricontroso.com. this is going to be confusing at first but we urge you to stick with it
I dont need any more adjustments to my outlook its the same basic functionality for 20+ years all they do is move some buttons around force a retrain
