Convicted in 1982, Broadwater spent more than 16 years in prison. He was denied parole at least five times because he wouldn't admit to a crime he didn't commit, according to his attorneys. As long as there are dirty district attorneys, biased judges and racist cops, our justice system will still fail the innocents. The justice system in this country is broken and I'm uncertain it can be fixed. It is the by-product of a broken society. A society built for whites.
