Column: California’s sluggish population growth has lost us a congressional seat. That should concern us
But beyond blame and pronouncements lies a more fundamental question: Has the Golden State lost its luster? “California represented the dream of the common man and woman,” he said. “Now it’s changed. The more boomers that leave, the better the state becomes.
