Harry Styles Surprised Fans With a Brand New Song and His Dreamiest Music Video Yet

Late on October 10, the British singer-songwriter released “Lights Up” sans teasers or prior official announcement — apart from two inconspicuous images on hisMixing guitar riffs with a slight electronic production, Harry’s honey vocals take center stage in the track — asking listeners “What do you mean?” and “Do you know who you are?” — to create the ultimate groovy bop.

For the accompanying music video, Harry leans fully into psychedelia. We see the singer living out an orgy-like haze dream shirtless, wearing a full-on silver sequined suit on the beach, and riding on the back of a motorcycle while sitting in reverse. Though no official confirmation has yet been issued, “Lights Up” is believed to be the first single off Harry’s upcoming album. In an interview from August, Harry
