Hanifa, especially amongst Black women, has become a cult favorite. The majority of the attendees were decked in their favorite Hanifa pieces from previous collections, old and new friends alike were laughing, hugging, and commemorating Mvuemba’s accomplishments, how far she has come, and the road ahead. The runway show was followed by an intimate after-party on the Eaton Hotel rooftop where the celebration continued into the night.
The entire collection was nothing short of amazing, but below are a few standout pieces I are hoping will become staples in our closets soon:
