I will gladly pass out candy to any minor. At least they are dressing up and having innocent fun rather than causing mischief or getting messed up, 🤷🏾♀️

Also have you seen some of these 6th graders? Some of them look like they were about 18 years old! They're only 11-12 years old but they look so much older 6' tall, a little facial hair... by the time they're in 8th grd, they look like full grown men, but they're little boys
If you have a costume, candy all day. Let them be kids as long as they can.

Kids are trying to grow up so fast and they are losing their innocence so quickly that, if a 16-year-old still wants to trick-or-treat, don't throw a fit about it, they are just hanging onto that little bit of childhood they have left
You come to my house making even half an effort at a costume and are polite, I’m giving you candy unless I’ve run out. I don’t care how old you are. 🤷♀️
I don't actually walk up to doors asking for candy myself, my kids do, but I literally have not missed a year of Trick-or-treating since I was a toddler- (last year didn't count because trick-or-treating was canceled everywhere)
As long as you have a costume on you will get treats 😊. Everyone loves candy!
