I wan a tax payer funded security project for my home!!!

See people gov. Cox don't care about you he wants free security on us instead of focusing on education he's about what he can get from us

The reaction from Cox is the only worrisome part of this story. If I had to guess, he is mad because his line 'I will pay it back when I'm out of office,' has now been quoted multiple times in the press. Painted himself into a corner with that one.

I want our leaders safe. I’m good with this.

Going after the gov but you guys have nothing to say about our corrupt and inept President.

Why doesn't he just make Mexico pay for it?

Good. There are ton of whackos out there. Security should be paramount.

He should run for Mayor of Fairview

So every time we get a new governor we're going to go add new security to a place he wants to stay at. Isn't this why we have a governor's mansion that is secure? This was probably a deal he made with the legislature. This is why he doesn't push back.

Protect him? While he does nothing to protect you? Hypocrisy
