“Though we were not involved in these initial planes to Martha’s Vineyard, we appreciate the support in responding to this national crisis and helping Texans,” said Renae Eze, Abbott’s press secretary. In April, Abbott first directed the Texas Division of Emergency Management to charter buses to transport migrants from Texas to Washington, D.C. Emergency management officials have been working closely with non-governmental aid agencies along the border and have made sure migrants know their rights before agreeing to be bused to D.C. or elsewhere. The state provides migrants with waivers to sign in languages they can understand to make sure the state isn’t violating any laws.
Why would you not want people to go to place they want to go. You want them pouring into states by the 1000s that have to deal with them but are upset when small numbers come to blue states. You are a hateful fascist-tactic spin doctors. People are wising up.
