GM to supply 30,000 ventilators in $500 million U.S. contract

The Department of Health and Human Services contract is the first for ventilator production under the Defense Production Act, invoked by President Donald Trump to get companies to produce essential gear needed to fight the pandemic.

GM FINALLY has a contract with U.S. government to make ventilators! THINK ABOUT IT: Trump bragged about getting them to make ventilators, Trump insulted GM, Trump accused them of price gouging, HE accused them of delaying. YET THEY DIDN'T HAVE A CONTRACT UNTIL NOW. TRUMP LIED!

It is my hope that General Motors did the right thing and gave the United States the best possible price. But at about $16,670 each it doesn’t seem to be the case.
