The friend of Immaculee Goldade has been released from the hospital and is at home recovering after Saturday’s tragic hit-and-run collision.

The girls were facing traffic while walking on the shoulder of 104th Street East, several doors down from where Immaculee Goldade lived.“This truck didn’t just accidentally swerve off the road,” said John Goldade, Immaculee’s father. “But I’m not saying he did it on purpose. But it was all the way in the ditch. I mean this was complete carelessness.”

Kathleen’s mother, Rachel Olson, told KIRO 7 on Sunday night that her daughter just got home and “She is expecting to make a full recovery. They were holding hands at the time of the crash.”John Goldade is pleading for the driver who fled the scene to turn themselves in. Investigators have already found the truck that was involved in the collision and are working to find the driver.
