There are no FDA-approved drugs for the coronavirus, which has infected more than 18 million people worldwide and killed at least 710,136 in about seven months, according to data compiled by Johns Hopkins University. During a conference call discussing the company's earnings last week, Gilead executives said they expect to sell 1 million to 1.5 million treatment courses of the drug this year.
