George and Amal Clooney's 3-year-old twins, Alexander and Ella, are a couple of lucky toddlers. The Clooney family spends summers at their gorgeous Italian villa on Lake Como, and it seems that the time spent there over the years has rubbed off on the twins in the form of language acquisition.
"We did a really dumb thing, which is they speak fluent Italian," George told Jimmy Kimmel in an interview."I mean,. At 3. But I don't speak Italian, my wife doesn't speak Italian. So we really – this is terrible — we've armed them with a language.
George continued, sharing that his family has been living in LA during the pandemic, and that he's taken to sprucing up their home to keep himself occupied."I wood stained the entire house," he told Jimmy, who asked if he did a good job."Probably not! But I was busy for a while — it kept me out of the room with the kids speaking Italian.
When asked if his kids only eat Italian cuisine, George shared that they'll actually eat anything you put in front of them — they really aren't ordinary 3-year-olds!"My kids eat broccoli and spinach," George said, before Jimmy interrupted to suggest that maybe they exchange children for a while, asApparently, though, George's secret is butter. He made a Thanksgiving dinner for his wife and kids and covered everything in butter.
