Gas prices are well below record highs hit earlier this year. Analysts think they could fall even farther.

Tom Kloza, global head of energy analysis for OPIS, said he expects gas prices to continue falling through the holiday season. There continue to be. The average price of a gallon of gasoline has fallen below $3 in Texas, Arkansas, Mississippi, Missouri, Louisiana, Georgia and Oklahoma, according to OPIS, which is part of Dow Jones & Co., publisher of The Wall Street Journal. It is above $4 in California, Washington, Oregon, Nevada, Alaska and Hawaii, according to OPIS.

“So far those sanctions have had less bite than people thought in the first few weeks of the conflict,” Mr. Hamilton said. After authorizing the largest release ever from the U.S. emergency strategic petroleum reserve, the Biden administration is signaling it will soon try to refill the stockpile. All those thanking Biden will have a rude awakening as the strategic oil reserve is refilled, or God forbid there a real emergency.

Awww the WSJ holding Biden’s hand. The stubborn old dolt should step down and give it back to Trump.

Still well above when Biden took over. Thanks CNN.

Does POTUS get any credit for falling gas prices? goBiden

Even if the prices drop, we're not back to where we started until the strategic oil reserves are replenished.

Buying from Venezuela Now that we emptied our Reserves.

Thanks Biden !

All artificial. Same as the jobs numbers. They go up or down based on factors the WSJ won't report on.

Sure. During a recession gas goes down. Supply and demand. The demand for gas will fall sharply in 2023 as the Economy falls into a deeper recession.

Wait.. Fox News told me gas would sky rocket after the election!

Imagine if we opened up US energy.....it would impact inflation and get us out of the recession.

And still well above prices last year

Gas is still well above what it was before Biden became president and wrecked the economy. Don’t forget inflation, border crisis, and crime is way up. BidenWorstPresidentInHistory

Everything went up due to gas increasing its funny how none of that goes down again!!!

That's what happens when people frive less because of the price of gas.

It’ll be nice to see a pause in witless gas pump memes. The propaganda trolls can move on to their next shiny object. How some people choose to live in a constant state of contrived panic, I do not understand.

Still above what they were when Biden took office. The oil reserves will only last so long and then the price of gas will spike back up. Don't forget putting us in a national security crisis with no reserves

Traditionally gas prices drop this time of year since demand is low.

And they should, oil companies are the biggest joke in this country

One World Dollar will be backed by a measure of precious metals to include gold, platinum, silver, palladium, and nickel. The measure of precious metals will allow for the creation of a tuning fork ($1,000.00) and coinage that emits a specific resonance.1 dollar worth loaf bread.

Still more than it should be

Thank you President Biden. 👏🏼☮️🌈✊🏼

How are our reserves going after Biden cut right into them to artificially lower gas prices ahead of the mid terms? Prices will skyrocket to the highest levels they've ever been soon.

US gas is cheaper than before Russia invaded UkrainePrices at the pump continue to plunge, dropping the U.S. average for gasoline to below where it was when Russia invaded Ukraine. I’ll be excited for stories like these when fuel is at a lower price than when Trump was president. Till then the prices still suck. Still paying 5.55 for diesel. Doesn’t feel low Still not lower than what it was when we had Trump's better economic policies.

LA City Council votes to phase out oil drilling, ban new wells with gas prices far above national averageThe Los Angeles City Council on Friday voted to ban oil and gas wells within city limits and phase out existing wells over the next 20 years. INSANITY They can buy out and shutdown gas station, so can any blue city. Quit being hypocrites, get rid of your gas cars, fossil fuel heat, go solar. Show everyone how it’s done. That should reduce emissions in the US, what about 50% overnight? Evil hypocrisy
