Gang investigators working to stem the tide of fentanyl in Riverside County seized the pills and powder over the course of 2 weeks.

No further information was released because the three investigations are ongoing. But the Riverside County District Attorney's Office did say that the investigations are part of the ongoing effort to stem the flow of fentanyl into the county.

Fentanyl is a synthetic opiate that's highly addictive, 50 times more powerful than heroin, and 100 times more so than morphine. Authorities say just two milligrams of fentanyl can be fatal, and the substance is believed to be behind the spike in drug overdose deaths in recent years. Thanks for reading CBS NEWS.Please enter valid email address to continue

Would ripping out grass save water in Utah? This proposal could save 11 million gallons a yearSalt Lake County could be the next to join the water-efficient landscaping trend, as county officials have a proposal they say could save at least 11 million gallons of water every year. but the hoas 😭😡 I see too many people and businesses watering their lawn in the middle of the afternoon, the hottest part of the day. We need to be smarter about when we water. Problem is those water-efficient landscapes do not help with heat control, which like in AZ increases the ambiance heat and thus makes the environment even more unlivable. Would like to see more discussions on re-filling the great salt lake. That is the only solution.
