Gal Gadot Now Admits Her Cover of “Imagine” Was in “Poor Taste”

During the new interview, Gadot was asked about the fact that she self-mockingly began singing “Imagine” in October 2021 when she went up to the podium to accept her award at. “They had a mic there.”

Gadot went on to explain that she had seen the pandemic spreading around Europe before it took hold in the U.S., and so she initially reached out toco-star Kristen Wiig to get her on board. As much as the world razzed her (myself included for what that matters), it honestly didn’t seem like poor taste. Everyone involved surely meant well, and even if they’re celebs, the run of people in the video have always come across as kind, genuine people.
