Ratification of ERA runs into opposition — from Trump, sure, but Ruth Bader Ginsburg?Even with Virginia's latest ratification, the Equal Rights Amendment looks doubtful due to assorted foes, from Trump to RBG. I have been thinking about the ERA since I was 16 yr old- I was all for it but now I wonder if the word “ Mankind” was replaced with the word “ Humankind” would that be the answer to end discrimination to women as well as transgender etc. In 1972 Congress put an expiration on states approval. Congress must change the expiration rule for state ratification so RBG can legally support ERA.
