The Jags got out to a hot start, but Trevor Lawrence couldn't hold on to the early lead in rainy Philly.

Coming off yet another win, Jacksonville was attempting to do something they hadn't done since 2018 — start the year off 3-1.

Cornerback Shaq Griffin, who also entered the game questionable to play, played today after missing last week's contest against the Los Angeles Rams due to a hip injury. The Eagles entered the game without their starting nickel defensive back Avonte Maddox. Sunday's game featured a quick start for the Jaguars as they jumped out to a 14-0 lead during the first quarter.

It was the first pick-six for Jacksonville since former Jaguars linebacker Joe Schobert returned one in 2020 against the Minnesota Vikings.Jaguars, Trevor Lawrence fumble away second quarter Both fumbles lost by Jacksonville turned into touchdowns by the Eagles, giving them a 20-14 lead heading into halftime. The Jacksonville defense regressed on the ground, too, allowing 95 yards rushing to the Eagles during the second quarter of action.

The Eagles totaled 162 yards through three quarters of action, and that would continue through the fourth quarter. The Eagles finished with 401 total yards, including 210 yards on the ground. The Jaguars couldn't get it done today, primarily thanks to losing the turnover battle for a second time this season. Jacksonville finished with just one interception on defense while turning the ball over via four fumbles and one pick offensively. All four lost fumbles were credited to Lawrence.
