Web apps are pretty good these days. I find the fact people still buy apple projects in the first place astounding.
I remember during the first few yrs of twitter, most of its users were from iphone. They would have 'tweet via iPhone' under each posts. Android users like me would either have to go via web or SMS to send the tweet. I can surely say Apple is the one who help popularized twitter.
