Former 'The Talk' Co-Host Sharon Osbourne Looks Downcast After Jerry O’Connell Replacement News (via Fox411)

"I know you’re upset. It was terrible. I just hope you know when that once this blows over that you know that Sheryl [Underwood] is your friend. She really is your friend," Welteroth could allegedly be heard saying in the audio."She doesn’t think you’re racist. I don’t think you’re racist. No one who knows you would ever say that or think that."

Later in the clip, the former"America’s Got Talent" judge suggested that CBS had"set me up," saying,"They don’t care that I will now have to go around and [have] people think I’m racist. They don’t give a s–t. They just want ratings. That’s all." Sharon Osbourne looked worse for wear after it was confirmed that Jerry O’Connell would be replacing her on 'The Talk.'. O’Connell, who will be the first male co-host in the series’ history, addressed his full-time hiring on Wednesday.

"You ladies have been so welcoming to me," he told them Wednesday."I mean, I came here as a guest months ago, and just from the moment I walked in, you’re just gracious, you’re kind, you’re fun, and it worked."

Fox411 Who watches TV at 1 in the afternoon? That's rhetorical.

Fox411 Sharon had it good. A fine paycheck at her age, some Hollywood weight, all she had to do is show up and follow the script. She didn’t have to spill her true feelings about anything. I can get that job? I will follow the script 200% just make sure those 7 figure checks arrive.

Fox411 Show should be canceled, after Julie, Sarah, Marie and Sharon left its terrible now.
