Ford Restructuring Plan to Eliminate 7,000 Jobs

Auto Industry needs to restructure business model. Ford received $5.9 billion in government loans in 2009 to retool plants to produce more fuel-efficient cars, and lobbied for and benefited from the cash-for-clunkers program. Ford won't be last to announce.

So, why did they hire 7,000 extra people?

Here’s an idea for auto makers, focus on making vehicles with strong quality engines, transmission, suspension etc and stop putting bullshit in cars like steering wheel warmers. That way you can sell great quality vechiles that will last a very long time for an affordable price
