has targeted retailers of all sizes, the relative impact on small businesses is substantial. Even a minor robbery can lead to a significant portion of their inventory being stolen, prompting some owners to reconsider whether to even reopen.
[The thieves] are trying to get their hands on as much product as they can, specifically during a supply chain crisis. At least three people have been arrested after a group of shoplifters robbed a California department store on Nov 21, 2021., organized retail crime resulted in an average loss of $719,548 per $1 billion in sales last year. That’s up from $703,320 in 2019, marking the fifth year in a row the figure has surpassed $700,000. In 2015, that number was just over $450,000.
For businesses looking to prevent or recover from such incidents, there are two main options: hiring security and filing an insurance claim. But both can be problematic and inadequate solutions for small businesses, since they’re often prohibitively expensive. But, the owner, who chose to be unnamed, knows all too well that it’s not just a matter of having coverage. It needs to be the right insurance coverage.
Just file an insurance claim. insurance Allstate
'there's no way to fight smash and grab robberies' Sure there is; it's called 'self-defense'.
Ghetto Trash, Ghetto Smash
To combat smash and grab we need to rethink how we display and secure our products. For example, glass difficult to break. Display nonfunctional samples. Buzz customers in and out of stores.
Hmmm, I don't know. Having been smashed and grabbed into insolvency by insurance companies it is kind of refreshing to at least see an identifiable crook in a ski mask...
I've been broken into 3 times in the past 3 years at my bar. It's sad when you no longer have a reaction to it anymore and it starts to seem like a normal thing, but that's where I'm at. All I can say is I've reached the point where I just hang my head down and say 'Not again😔'
These lots are only known to loot, destroy , kill and ruin and they wonder why no sane individual or civilized environment needs them. It's them in the DNA. They wouldn't change except the full wrath of law grinds them to pieces.

This is not a left right issue, all decent Americans are against this organized theft. No one is preventing the cops from doing their job or taking away rights for Business owners to protect thier business. We are all in Agreement on this stuff.
Welcome to Joe Biden's America.
Sounds pretty RACIST. These companies should be forced to operate at a loss in black/liberal cities to prove they support BLM.
Pass out free dirt naps.... that'll stop the looting
My store was swarmed by a gypsy family theft ring in Wisconsin.. It happens so quickly with so many planned distractions I didn't realize what happened until they left the building. They hit 4 other stores before they left town apparently.
This is what a rich/poor country looks like
