Once a Covid-19 vaccine becomes available in the United States, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention plans to monitor vaccine recipients for any health problems through text messages and online surveys, as part of a new program called V-SAFE

.

The percentage of Americans who say they would get a Covid-19 vaccine is falling, CNN poll finds"V-SAFE is a new smartphone-based active surveillance program for Covid-19," Dr. Tom Shimabukuro, deputy director of the CDC's Immunization Safety Office, said during a meeting of the US Food and Drug Administration's Vaccines and Related Biological Products Advisory Committee on Thursday.

It remains important to have other ways to collect information, said Claire Standley, an assistant research professor within the Center for Global Health Science and Security at Georgetown University, who is not involved in the program."It'd be important to have alternative methods for reporting adverse reactions as well and not just rely on the mobile cell reporting," Standley said.

Received a lot of money exploited by CCP

I’ll let the first 330 million citizens or so take the virus and then maybe, I mean just maybe,.. the year after, if no adverse health effects are apparent, I’ll consider it. No longer trust the FDA, CDC, HHS, nor the NIH. Thanks Trump.,.. You ass!

Is this not news?

Didn't someone just die from the trial vaccine...? Rather, complications from the vaccine.

Got a letter today offering me $1220 to help in vaccine research from Acurian Health. No can do.

The CDC Just Changed The Definition Of ‘Close Contact’ To Someone With Covid-19I'm a journalist based in New York City. Before coming to Forbes I covered breaking news, police and crime for The New York Post and freelanced for The Washington Post. I studied journalism, photography and art at the City University of New York. We've had presidents who were competent but corrupt (Nixon) and presidents who were incompetent but not corrupt (Hoover), but we've never had a president who was utterly incompetent and utterly corrupt until now!

CDC redefines close contact with someone with Covid-19 to include cumulative exposureThe CDC's new definition of close contact with someone with Covid-19 includes multiple, brief exposures adding up to a total of 15 minutes spent six feet or closer to an infected person This is the stupidest thing I've heard so far. With a mask or without? So 14 minutes is good? Does corona know this?

Brief encounters with COVID-19 patients now considered 'close contact,' CDC saysThe CDC has redefined what counts as 'close contact' with someone with a coronavirus infection to include brief, repeated encounters that total 15 minutes. They can't get their whole approach to this thing down can They? Then most doctors and nurses would've died by now. If masks work, why the distance? Lmao nobody cares about this anymore 😂 it’s great to see
