A food truck owner was robbed and then shot in the leg on the North Side early Tuesday morning, according to San Antonio police.

SAN ANTONIO

The incident occurred around 12:20 a.m. outside Slackers Sports Bar in the 120 block of West Rector Drive, not far from San Pedro Avenue and McCullough Avenue. The other owner chased the suspect around the building, but that’s when the suspect pulled out a gun and fired, striking the victim near an apartment complex, according to SAPD.Chris Medina, a longtime barber at North Star Barber Shop on Rector, said the food truck does well, and the owners are well liked.
