Three-month-old Gunner has 'a new leash on life,' his owner says.

Gunner, a Cavalier King Charles spaniel, snuggled up right next to Richard that first meeting at the breeder’s place in Miami, and that was all the two needed.

The pair were walking along the shoreline where, unseen to either Richard or Gunner, an alligator was on alert. Paintings of seahorses and roseate spoonbills hang in the family room where one of Gunner’s beds lays out in front of the TV. A cross-stitched heron and a large painting of two great egrets watch over the dining table.

Omgosh he’s my hero! When I first arrived in FL there were signs BEWARE OF ALLIGATORS 🐊EATING YOUR ANIMALS “ My Mom would say NOT to wake her dogs to close to the water, I was shocked this could happen.

The dogs live in Florida and should know what an alligator looks like by now. Train you dog better use alligator flash cards.🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

I want to know what cigar he was smoking.

Great news that Gunner is safe & that your hands are healing.😊

Incredible video. He kept his cigar in the entire time! Hero.

It’s “a new lease on life”. Either don’t quote him in the headline or correct the quote.
