Firefighters knocked down a converted pool house in the backyard of a home in the Pico-Robertson area of Los Angeles.
The fire at 1606 S. Canfield Ave. was reported at 3:29 p.m., according to Los Angeles Fire Department spokesman Brian Humphrey. The department dispatched 24 firefighters to the scene and extinguished the flames in 16 minutes, Humphrey said,
