The judge's ruling Friday means the mandate -- which required all New York City Department of Education employees to provide proof of at least one dose of a Covid-19 vaccine by Monday -- may not go into effect at its planned deadline, unless the case is reviewed before then. The US Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit has issued a notice putting the motion on the calendar for Wednesday, according to a spokesperson for the New York City Law Department.

I’m vaccinated but what difference does it make to the students if the teacher is vaccinated or not? Vaccinated people can catch Covid and spread it the same as an unvaccinated person. The only one at more risk of anything serious by not being vaccinated is the teacher.
