The FBI is trying to find out who is responsible for sending suspicious envelopes to several election offices across the country. At least five states, Washington, Oregon, California, Nevada, and Georgia reported that letters inside white envelopes were discovered with a white powdery substance.
"This was an attempt not only to terrorize the people that work in this building but also to disrupt the democratic process and that is reprehensible on so many levels," said Public Information Officer Devon Ashbridge. "We're going into a presidential election. Things are only going to get crazier possibly. Hopefully not," said election worker Eldon Miller.
