Family IDs man shot, killed outside Privat Social Club, sets up GoFundMe to help with funeral costs

to help with funeral costs has been set up by the family of the man killed in a deadly shooting outside Privat Social Club early Thursday morning.

Family and the Bexar County Medical Examiner’s Office have identified the man as 20-year-old Devon King of Corpus Christi.early Thursday morning. The fight spilled out into a parking lot where one or more people pulled out a gun and started firing.King was shot once in the chest. He died at the hospital, just days before his 21st birthday.By the time police arrived to the UTSA Boulevard nightclub, the shooter had fled. The person has not been located.

King was known as the “life of the party” and a happy kid with a “contagious big cheesy smile,” according to his family. His aunt, who arranged the GoFundMe, said his death was “something nobody was prepared for.”EXPRESS BRIEFING:
