The preliminary forensic toxicology results also found that Guardado had no drugs or alcohol in his system at the time of the incident. Commander Chris Marks of the LA County Sheriff's Department said Wednesday that the hold on the official autopsy was necessary while investigators conduct witness interviews, so that the investigation is not tainted.

Marks says that two officers, whom he declined to name, were involved in the incident: one who fired six shots, and another who did not fire his weapon. The officer who did not fire any shots has been interviewed by investigators, but the officer who fired the shots has not yet done so.

AndresGuardado has eleven wounds. Six shell casings were recovered by LASDs. Seven wounds were from the five bullets fired into his back, some thru his torso. That leaves both arms, his low stomach and the back of his head to have somehow all be grazed by the remaining bullet

The LA Sheriff is stonewalling, this is a problem LA County residents have been faced with for decades. There has never been a time that LASD cooperated with officer involved death situations.

This is very troubling, the young man was shot 5 times in the back tells us he was running away. Both deputies body cam happen to be off. The tape collected was destroyed. Tells the story, unfortunately nothing is going to happen to the deputy, who shot him, this is shameful.
