David Robinson has been in Arizona for the last three months searching for his 24-year-old son Daniel Robinson who went missing after leaving a work site in the desert in his Jeep Renegade on June 23.
Robinson, who lives in South Carolina, hired an independent investigator and assembled a volunteer search team when he says he felt the police weren't making progress in the investigation. He also says he failed to get the amount of media coverage he believed the case needed. The case was reported by the local media as early as July 9.

And isn't as blatant in some areas. The advent of social media has served to help find missing people faster. My only comment was referring to the work desperately needed to help poc have a chance to come home safely.

The coverage is not equal and drops off when you look at missing indigenous people - the media is focused on selling Ads, not saving people - what's worse is that a suspected murder was allowed to disappear, what made him less of a threat? we all know why!

When there are witnesses, the person gets more attention and has a better chance of being found. The first 24 hours are crucial in finding the person alive. It's isn't about race in these cases.
It's not an issue of the colour of missing person, but that the population is 96% indigenous white.
